Jewish Activists try to sail to Gaza
The New York Times reported that Jewish peace activists tried to sail to Gaza but were stopped by the Israeli army, among them a well-known Israeli passenger, Rami Elhanan, whose daughter was killed by a Palestinian suicide bomber. Sexual Violence as a Weapon in Congo
The New York Times reports that UN officials cited that approximately 500 women were raped in eastern Congo in July and August, demonstrating that both rebel militias and government troops used sexual violence as a weapon.

Indian Court Convicts Eight in Bhopal Disaster
