Non-violent revolutions and Gene Sharp

In the wake of the events in Egypt, The New York Times offers a portrait of American intellectual Gene Sharp highlighting his work on peaceful revolution and how it served as a how-to manual for several uprisings and dissident groups.

Two of our films deal with non-violent uprisings, PEOPLE POWER which includes insights from Gene Sharp himself, and THE DEMOCRATIC REVOLUTIONARY HANDBOOK with members of the Serbian group OPTOR.
