Nuclear Proliferation - North Korea May Test A-Bomb
On Friday, Aug. 29, The New York Times reported from Beijing that officials from North Korea told diplomats it planned to declare that it has become a nuclear power and may test an atomic bomb in the near future.

We have two films that shed rare light on this dangerous development, PYONGYANG DIARIES and WAR AND PEACE.

In a recent review, Columbia University Professor Charles Armstrong called the documentary PYONGYANG DIARIES, "Rare and unusual... The film stands virtually alone... in its balanced, non-ideological and humane attempts to get 'inside' the DPRK and show some of the contradiction, complexity, and diversity of life in today's North Korea. Makes a great contribution to awareness of this little-seen and poorly understood country."

Filmed over three years in Asia and the United States, after the 1998 nuclear tests on the Indian sub-continent, WAR AND PEACE documents the current, epic journey of peace activism in the face of global militarism and war.
