U.S. Supreme Court Hears Arguments About Post 9/11 Detentions
The Supreme Court hears arguments this week in two cases involving Americans who are being held indefinitely, without the right to see a lawyer, simply because they have been designated "enemy combatants." As reported on Fox News (sic) and elsewhere, justices heard appeals on whether enemy combatants at Guantanamo Bay can sue American courts to try to win their freedom.

Set in a bare room that functions variously as interrogation room, prison cell and home, the timely new release PERSONS OF INTEREST consists of a series of intimate encounters with twelve detainees and family members. Newsday wrote, "A film guaranteed to raise the righteous indignation of anyone with a favorable opinion of liberty, freedom or the Constitution."
